Till She's Done

There, under the great dark sky
Where fear lurks, and hearts die
She walks through,
With her head held high
The truth, her face flawlessly hides.

That blackened soul, and distant mind,
A river of insanity, those helpless sighs,
But a mountain of hopes,
Gathered strength,
All that makes her what she is...

Soul, shredded to bits and pieces,
Heart, Bound by lies.
Hallow on the inside
She feels numb
And she's on the verge of giving up

But piece by piece she picks herself up,
Heals her broken heart
Dives again in love,
Only to have it
shattered again
And again and again,
till there's nothing left.

And then she lives on with her dead heart.
