Black & Blue



There were colours everywhere
For a while, they shone bright
Then there was only one left, 
One that was never on my mind 
No, this isn't what I thought I'd have
The darkest blue, that fades to black
Feels worse than it sounds
But I'll polish it till the sparkle is back

A half-life on borrowed time
Blinded by hope, there's love in sight
All the strength, your sweet voice lends 
To keep this going, till the tunnel ends 
Till I see the light, have you by my side
Everything wrong, that we'll make right,
Give this a chance, live this different life
One I didn't wish for, blue instead of bright

I often wonder.., Is it really so difficult to show what’s on one’s mind? What they really want? What they think of certain things? I’ve always been curious to know what others think. NO! Not about me. But in general, how they perceive certain things, May it be about the world or things like day to day life or relationships, or even a piece of music, or maybe even a painting… It does not have a psychological explanation.
