But it's hard to let go

How far in must you be,
To see the door
the narrow corridor leads to,
Is but an illusion,
A ruse to rope you in...

So far in,
You can't find your way,
Can't turn back, can't walk ahead,
The long corridor leads
to a door far beyond reach.

If you get too close,
The door shall spiral into nothingness,
leaving you longing, all by yourself,
Your misery, your only companion,
In that corridor—dark, dreary, abandoned

So, turn back,
Don't look for love
Where it doesn't exist,
Turnaround and walk away
Before it's too late...
