Silence Doesn't Haunt

 A quiet existence,  As the silence taunts,  Haunts the very walls, I built so strong, Strong enough to hold, Through terrifying storms, Storms, I can't hear now, Only this silence that taunts. I'd choose it again, This silence, that echos, Echos through empty halls, That curve and go beyond, This world and all its flaws,  Flaws the naive ignore, Ignore till they're burnt, No, I'd rather let the silence taunt.
